Precleaning Separator

Precleaning Separator is installed in grain receiving lines, it serves to separate course impurities contained in cereals during the pre-cleaning phase, such as straw particle, string, paper, pieces of wood, maize leaves and cobs, etc. This machine can relieve downstream machines and conveyers,therefor protect them from operating faults and damage.

Working Principle

The grain is fed through a curved inlet chute to the inside of a revolving perforated sheet metal drum. The grain falls through the perforations to the outlets, while coarse impurities are retained in the drum and sent to the foreign matter outlet with the drum's rotary movement.

The drum sieve is equipped with a brush that automatically cleans the screen drum to prevent mesh blockage. The dedusting connection to the air suction device ensures dust and light impurities are efficiently removed.
